Project Update Phase 3

Following the Phase 2 Update in February 2025, we wish to inform landowners, stakeholders and the general public that we are now progressing to TII Phase 3 Design and Environmental Evaluation. This involves developing the preliminary design of the scheme, undertaking environmental assessments and preparing the necessary documentation for planning and statutory processes.

The Project Team is currently gathering more detailed information to inform the next stage of work and will shortly be undertaking a series of surveys. These will include various ecological walkover surveys, archaeological surveys and baseline air, noise and traffic surveys. These surveys are expected to commence over the coming weeks and continue over several months.

In some cases we may require access to private lands to undertake these surveys. We will be issuing separate correspondence to all affected landowners. If you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the Project Team using the contact details provided on the website.
